The PM mixers are designed to withstand the rigours of life on the road by being housed in a tough wooden carpet covered surround. The surround also features rubber feet and corner protectors. The PM Series comprises three models in total; the PM500, PM600, and PM700.

The PM500 mixer features five mono input channels whilst the PM600 features six for applications requiring more than five source inputs. The LF control frequency has been carefully selected on the PM500 and PM600 allowing vocals or instruments to be finely tuned without losing their natural balance. The HF control is similarly designed to cut out unwanted harshness or excessive mid high range interference.

The PM700 offers an extra input channel making seven in total plus a seven band graphic equaliser for flexible sound shaping and feedback control.

Mic and line inputs are provided on balanced XLR and jack connectors for optimum performance with the main stereo outputs on balanced XLRs for better integration with other professional equipment.

The RFX Mixer series, from Wharfedale Pro, is the latest version of the popular R-Series of compact, portable mixers now both featuring an integral 16 preset digital effects processor. The line consists of two models, the R1604FX and the R2004FX.

Both RFX models offer LOW CUT filters and variable GAIN controls on the mono channels with a switchable gain selection on the stereo channels. Each channel sports a 60mm, long throw slide fader volume control. A MUTE switch is located on every channel which also routes the signal to the ALT 3-4 output buss. The MUTE switch has a LED indicator that shows that the switch is engaged. SOLO switches are also provided on each channel with a global SOLO indicator LED in the master section.

Both RFX models provide flexible signal routing options including two auxiliary sends. "AUX" is a switchable pre/post fader send and EFX is a post fader send that is routed to the internal effects unit as a default. External effects units can be connected to the EFX send output as an alternative to using the internal effects.

The master section of the RFX mixers has dual, 10 segment bar graph LED signal level indicators, left and right MAIN MIX fader level controls, an ALT 3-4 fader level control, a versatile CTRL ROOM and PHONES routing section and level control, EFX RETURNS level controls, a 2TK level control, AUX SEND and EFX SEND level controls, a rotary switch for EFX selection, and a PHANTOM power on/off switch.

Both models are rack-mountable with the rack mount adapter kit included with each unit.

DIGITAL EFFECTS

The built-in digital effects unit allows for selection of one of 16 global effect presets. Available presets are:
