Jupiter 631 clarinets feature adjustable thumb rests with strap attachment and neck straps to
address the growing concern among teachers and physicians about problems with joints,
tendons and other hand ailments resulting from students supporting clarinets on their thumb.
The key work on this clarinet is super strong, much stronger than
other leading brand clarinets. The crows foot sits in a recess in the body, so
accidental bending of the key has been dramatically reduced.
