Their teaching staff are a mixture of seasoned professional musicians and qualified and experienced teachers.
Guitar Lessonsare handled by Steve Hill, Sam Wilson and Joedi Millward. Steve has been a part of the Bunbury music scene for over 20 years, and is a staple at festivals such as the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival and also teaches Slide Guitar, Lap-steel Guitar, Beginner Bass, Banjo and Mandolin. Sam is very much active in the local band scene being the lead guitarist of popular Bunbury band, The Stratz.
Piano Lessons are handled by Barbara Morgan. Barbara is an ABRSM accredited teacher, and has taught from beginner to tertiary level.
Violin Lessons are taught by Kahli Rogers, who took her TEE Music for violin at McKillop College in Busselton. Kahli has been holding private violin lessons for over a year and has just recently joined Vibrations roster of music teachers.
Vocal Lessons are taught by Suzanne LeClair, who is a WAAPA educated accredited school music teacher with over 25 years experience. Sue has performance experience with bands, musical theatre, opera, choirs and ensembles, and has won awards for musical theatre. She can offer choral and ensemble tuition as well as vocal lessons.
Drum Lessons are taught by Ashley Bartley and Stasia Worthington. Ashley has been teaching in Vibrations for the past two years and is quite active in the Bunbury music scene with progressive rock band STILL. Stasia has been drumming for 7 years and in that time has played in several bands and participated in many festivals including Blues at Bridgetown and the “Ouch” music festival. As well as playing gigs in the south west, Stasia is involved in the organization of the “Ouch” music festival and conducts regular drum workshops for schools.
Keyboard Lessons are taught by Francis Capistrano who has been playing keyboards professionally for the past 15 years. Francis has worked in several bands from a Trio to a seven-piece group and has been comissioned to arrange music for commercials and create backing tracks for singers.
For those who want to learn an instrument along with a few friends,Vibrations also runs Adult Keyboard Lessons for Small Groups with Eisteddfod stalwart Heather Graham. Heather also holds Individual Piano Tuition for Pre-Shoolers.
